  Yesterday started bright and sunny, but it didn't last. By late morning it was back to grey skies, ans from 4pm it started to drizzle. The morning started almost cold enough for a frost, and the afternoon was only 10° C. The drizzle/rain stopped after 9pm, and then it cooled down by a single degree to 9° C, and only fell another two degrees in the night.   This morning has started off rather chilly, 7° C, but it is bright and sunny. Sadly, the sunshine may not last much longer, and the afternoon will be mid grey. The afternoon temperature should reach 11° C. In the last two hours of daylight we may get a few sunny spells. The temperature will have dropped by to 8° C by midnight. Tomorrow may start at 7° C, but it may rise to 15° C by mid afternoon. Unfortunately it will be a mostly grey day, and at 2pm there is a 49% chance of light rain.

   I guess I should describe yesterday as a good day, but in reality only some of it was good, and the rest of it was merely "satisfactory" ! The morning was pretty standard - writing then reading and snoozing ! The snoozing was good even if shorter than ideal.   A lot of yesterday seemed bright and sunny, but it was not very warm. The afternoon temperature only reached 10° C.The start and finish of the day was just 5° C. Some light rain was forecast for theafternoon, but I don't recall seeing any, and I don't think it even got that dull.
  There was some sunshine first thing this morning, but it didn't seem to last long. At 8am it was forecast to be just 4° C, and maybe a few hours earlier there may have been some frost. While the morning has been bright, it is already getting dull, and from 1pm the sky could be very grey and cloudy. Drizzle is forecast to fall from 4pm, and it may not finish until 10pm. This afternoon the temperature will only rise to 10° C again. Tomorrow may start with some cold sunshine, and it may be just 6° C. The afternoon will be cloudy, but maybe still bright. The afternoon temperature may reach 12° C.

   My attempt at keeping yesterday's writing fairly short was near to successful. Maybe I can make today even shorter because little happened yesterday. I've probably got more to write about my meals than anything else, but there is "else" to write something about.   I don't think yesterday was as wet as forecast. I think it was dry until almost 2pm, possibly a bit earlier, but eventually it did rain. I don't recall any heavy rain, and I think most o it was very light rain.The afternoon temperature reached 11° C, and under a dull, and wet sky, it felt quite chilly. The day ended at about 8° C.   It was, and still is nice and sunny this morning, and maybe the first hour with no sunshine will be midday. From 1pm there may be some light rain, but possibly still with the odd ray of sunshine making it through the clouds. The rain may stop after 3pm, and the last 3 hours of daylight will see the return of the sun - even full sunshine as the sun starts to set - so not that useful. The afternoon may only be 10° C again, but clear skies in the evening will allow the temperature to drop down to 5° C by midnight. By 6am tomorrow it will be just 3° C, and maybe we might see some frost. Tomorrow morning may see sunny spells until clouds gather by 11am. Later in the afternoon it will be very dull, and rain will fall.

   I am going to try and keep things short this morning. Only a few important things happened yesterday, and the rest of the day was a bit dull - it featured some snoozing and reading, and little else.   Yesterday's weather was not very good. It was cold, and after a few hours of sunny spells in the morning, it was dull. By 3pm the temperature briefly peaked at 10° C after a morning start of just 6° C, and ending back on 6° C again from 9pm.The only good thing was that it was dry all day.   Right now it should be drizzling, but it is dry. If the drizzle actually starts it could change to light rain by 1pm, and that could continue until 8pm. It is around 7 or 8° C now, and the day will end at 8° C. The afternoon may see 11° C - which would almost be nice in full sunshine, but very miserable if it is raining as par the forecast. Tomorrow could start with full sunshine, but the clear sky will also mean a chilly, and just possibly, frosty morning. Just 4° C are forecast for 6am. It will slowly warm to 9° C by midday, and by 1pm it may be raining. Only light rain is forecast, and it will only last long enough to ruin the first half of the afternoon. Clear skies in the evening mean another very cold night - down to 5° C by midnight.

   I am unsure how to describe yesterday. I suppose bits were good and bits were bad. I felt something like tired for all of yesterday morning, but it wasn't really tiredness.   Yesterday was quite cold, and even the few sunny spells didn't seem to have much heat in them. The afternoon temperature was forecast to be just 8° C, but it may actually have been 9° C.Despite the forecast saying there might be light rain from morning to about 5pm, the only precipitation that left a memory was about 10 minutes of hail while I was walking home from the pub at about 2.30pm. After dark the temperature fell down to 5° C at midnight.
  I made an error and didn't manage to get a screen shot of the weather forecast until half way through this morning. I think it would have shown 7am as being as cold as about 4° C - just a fraction not cold enough for a frost. At the moment I am enjoying a rather long sunny spell. It could almost be described as sunny ! I can see a lot of blue sky with some fluffy clouds in it, and so it is possible the sunny spells may last a long time. They may stop after 1pm, and the rest of the day will feature light cloud, but it should stay dry all day. The afternoon temperature may peak at 10° C for a single hour at 3pm, but 9° C is more representative of the afternoon. After sun set the temperature will drop, and from 9pm the temperature looks like it will stick at 6° C for most of the night. Tomorrow, at 6am, the temperature will still be 6am, but it will slowly rise to an afternoon peak of 12° C. That seems almost good, but the downside is that tomorrow will be very grey all day, and from 11am there may be light rain that will continue all day, and into the night.

  We seem to have lost the nice weather of last week, and yesterday was very cloudy and dull. Oddly enough it didn't seem to rain even when rain was foecast from about 7pm last night. There could have been some later, but I only glanced out the window a couple of time after darkness fell. Despite the lack of sunshine it was still fairly mild, and the afternoon did reach 14° C for a couple of hours. The day started, and finished at about 9° C.   The forecast says we should have had a few hours of light rain by now, but it seems to be dry as a bone outside, and although a bit hazy, we have had at last one short sunny spell. My thermometers agree it is currently 8° C (at 9.46am). The forecast says that it will only be 8° C in the afternoon. Maybe it might be warmer than that. The forecast also says there should be light rain all the way to 5pm, and I must admit the cloudy sky could drop some rain at any time, and yet I am not sure if it feels like it will rain. By 1am the temperature may be down to just 4° C. By 6am tomorrow it could be down to 3am, but the drop in temperature is due to clear skies - blue skies that will give non stop sunshine until midday when some cloud will reduce it to just sunny spells. After that cold start to tomorrow the afternoon temperature may only reach 10° C, but in any sunny spells that shouldn't feel too bad. The wind may be very light and that will help that 10° C feel warmer.

  Yesterday had many sunny spells,and after a very cool start (5° C) it warmed up to 14° C.After sunset the temperature dropped, but it was still 9° C at midnight.
  The first temperature I saw this morning was 10° C, which is not what the forecast says. Also we have had at least one, rather hazy sunny spell, but that may have just been a fluke because the sky does seem to be unbroken light grey cloud. The cloud may thicken later, and the sky will turn very dull, but the temperature could still reach 14° C. From about 6pm it could start to drizzle. By 10pm it could be light rain, but at least the thick clouds will keep the temperature up during the night. Tomorrow should start at 7° C, but by 7am it will fall to 6° C. Then the temperature may slowly rise to 9° C by 1pm. Much of tomorrow features that odd weather icon which says it will be bright, but also rain. Maybe we will see a rainbow or two !

  Yesterday had a few sunny spells, but most of the day was dull, but for a single hour it did reach 13° C. The day started at just 3° C and there was a hint of mist. The day ended at about 7° C.   The cloud doesn't seem broken enough for the forecast sunny spells for much of today. At the moment the cloud is thin enough to give weak hazy brightness, but maybe the cloud will start to break up enough to allow those sunny spells through. By my reckoning, this morning has started at around 8° C. The afternoon could see 14° C, and if we do get the promised sunny spells it may feel quite good. Not a single drop of rain is forecast for today, and the day could finish at about 9° C. Tomorrow may see thicker cloud, particularly later in the day. The afternoon temperature may see 14° C, but without a hint of sunshine. By 7pm it could start to rain.

  Yesterday started with sunny spells, and they changed to full sunshine in the afternoon, but the afternoon temperature only reached 13° C, but that was still "no coat needed" warm. The day started and ended at 4° C.   This morning was supposed to start with mist, but it seemed clear to me. The forecast says that the first sunny spell today should be at midday, but we have a nice sunny spell right now. The sky is still cloudy so it probably won't last long, but it does hint that there may be more sunny spells than the few forecast for the afternoon. The afternoon is going to be cooler than recent days. The temperature may reach 13° C, but only for a single hour at 3pm. 11° C or 12° C are more representative for the afternoon. After 3pm it may be cloudy enough to stay dull for the rest of the day, and the temperature will fall to 8° C by midnight. Tomorrow morning may start with full sunshine, but only 5° C. There will be 3 hours of sunny spells in the morning, but the rest of the day will be dull. The afternoon temperature may reach 14° C without any sunshine. That will mean it won't feel as warm as an afternoon with sunshine.

  Yesterday was not quite as good as the day before, but it was still fairly good. While there was no full sunshine, there were plenty of sunny spells, and I guess some did last long enough to be almost like full sunshine. The afternoon only reached 14° C, but that was still "no coat needed" warm. The morning was cold enough for a frost, and the temperature dropped quite low in the night.
  Today will see a lot of full sunshine, but the afternoon may only reach 13° C - a degree cooler than yesterday. Once again it should be dry, but also once again, the ends of the day were and will be very chilly.  Tomorrow may be cold enough for a frost in the morning, and mist is forecast. It may feel like a return to late Autumn, but sunny spells are forecast that should warm the afternoon up to 13° C again. The wind should be light, and that will make it feel less cool.

Continuing clear skies meant the temperature dropped a lot at night.   By my reckoning, this morning started at just over 4° C, and I didn't notice any frost. Today should be another nice day, but maybe only sunny spells instead of non stop sunshine like yesterday. The afternoon temperature may only reach 14° C, but that should still feel warm in the sunshine while the winds remain light. Tomorrow may see the return of full sunshine, but clear skies mean each end of the day could be very chilly, maybe just 3° C in the morning. The afternoon temperature may only reach 13° C, but in full sunshine, and only light winds again, it should feel nice.

  Yesterday was a lovely sunny day. The afternoon reached 16° C, and possibly 17° C. Continuing clear skies meant the temperature dropped a lot at night.   Today will be another bright and sunny day, but once again, only 16° C is forecast for the afternoon. The morning was around 4° C according to my thermometers, and next door's shed roof seemed to have frost on it. Tomorrow could start at just 3° C, but it will be another mostly sunny day. Much of the day will feature full sunshine, but some hours may only see sunny spells. Tomorrow's high may only be 14° C.

  Yesterday, after a slightly dull start, was a lovely bright day with loads of sunny spells, and they were followed by 6 hours of non stop sunshine. for all that the afternoon only reached 14° C for a single hour, and 13° C for the rest of the afternoon. it was a lovely day !
  Today will be an even better day than yesterday. The forecast says there will be blue skies and full sunshine all day long. The afternoon may reach 16° C. It will be like a summers day, although a little cooler. Tomorrow could be almost identical to today. Sadly it won't last. The next few days will be cooler, and by next Monday we may be back to rainy days.

  Yesterday started off bright with some sunny spells, but from midday it started to get more cloudy. Unlike the day before, it didn't rain at all. The afternoon temperature briefly touched 12° C, and the cloud kept some warmth in to give a milder night starting at 9° C by midnight.   It is hard to believe when I look out the window to see it all grey and cloudy, but today should feature some full sunshine. The first sunny spells are supposed to start at 10am, and full sunshine by 1pm. By 2pm the temperature should rise as high as 14° C, but most of the afternoon may only be 13° C. It looks to be a clear night, and so tomorrow will be very chilly. Oddly enough, the forecast for tomorrow has the day starting at 6° C despite showing only 3° C in the headline figure. The whole of tomorrow could see full sunshine during daylight hours, and the afternoon temperature could be a a very pleasant 15° C.

  Yesterday started off bright with some sunny spells, but from midday it started to get more cloudy, and from about 4pm it started to rain. It was a fairly cool day with an afternoon temperature of just 11° C, and it was down to 5° C by midnight.   This morning seems too dull for any of the forecast sunny spells. In fact it looks like it could rain. My thermometers say it is already 8° C, and so the forecast 5° C is wrong too. I can believe the afternoon will be very dull, and the afternoon temperature may reach 12° C for one single hour. No rain is forecast for today - which seems difficult to believe. Tomorrow may feature sunny spells for much of the day, but there could be full sunshine from 2pm. The afternoon may see 13° C.

  Yesterday was mostly sunny. Until about 4pm it was just sunny spells, but from 4pm we had a couple of hours of full sunshine until the sun set at 6pm - the days are definitely getting longer ! The afternoon temperature only reached 10° C, but when sheltered from the wind that felt OK when in the sunshine. The clear sky in the evening allowed the temperature to drop a lot, but it was only down to 5° C by midnight.   This morning started at about 7° C according to my thermometers and not the 2° C in the forecast, although I must admit last night's clear sky strongly suggested there would be a frost. At the moment it is sunny, and there have been many sunny spells this morning. There is a fair bit of cloud, and the forecast says it will soon get dull, and from about 3pm there could be drizzle followed by light rain until maybe 8pm. The afternoon should see 11° C, and like yesterday, the temperature will be down to 5° C by midnight. Tomorrow may start at 4° C, but by the afternoon it should be 11° C again. There could be a few sunny spells in the morning, but most of tomorrow will be dry but dull.

  There were a few sunny spells yesterday morning, but by mid morning the cloud had thickened. From 2pm we had a few sprinkles of rain until 8pm, although most were so light I barely noticed them. The afternoon temperature only reached a cool feeling 9° C. From about 9pm the cloud thinned, and by 10pm the sky was clear. The temperature fell to just 3° C by midnight.   This morning started with a frost, but the sun is shining, and although only sunny spells are forecast until 4pm, when we could see a couple of hours of full sunshine, the temperature should rise to 10° C for the afternoon. Tonight may not be quite as cold as yesterday. Tomorrow may start cold enough for a frost on surfaces facing the sky. It may be a dull day, and with light rain starting at 2pm, and continuing for the rest of the day. The afternoon temperature may reach 11° C for perhaps a single hour.

  Yesterday started with some sunny spells, but only for a few hours, and then it clouded over. By 1pm some drizzle began to fall. However there seemed to be less rain that forecast, and the main weather feature was very strong winds. The afternoon reached 11° C, but the strong wind made it feel cooler.
  It is dry and bright as I write this. There should be sunny spells right now, but the sun looks hazy as it tries to shine through some thin, misty cloud. It is going to be a cool day with a maximum of 9° C, but falling to just 3° C by midnight thanks to clear skies. Tomorrow may start at just 2° C, but it will be sunny for a few hours, and then there will be sunny spells for most of the rest of the day. That will only warm the afternoon up to 10° C, but I guess that is a degree better than today.

  Yesterday featured lots of sunny spells, and the afternoon temperature reached 12° C. The sky was mostly clear after sunset, and the temperature fell to 7° C by 11pm.   It is quite cloudy this morning, but we have had some of the forecast sunny spells. They may be finishing soon, and the forecast says it will be dull from 10am. An hour later things will get livelier. Strong winds are forecast until almost the end of the day. The afternoon may only see a high of 11° C, and it may stay the same until well after midnight. To make it even more "interesting", rain will start to fall from 1pm. It will start with drizzle, but some of it will be light rain, and it will continue to rain into the night. During the small hours of tomorrow there could be heavier rain, but it should be back to light rain tomorrow morning. After early morning light rain, tomorrow should be mostly dry, but it will be a mostly grey day. It will also be quite cool with an afternoon temperature of only 9° C.

  Yesterday was a dry day, but it started rather grey. It slowly brightened up, but it was at least 3pm before we saw any sunny spells. The afternoon temperature only reached 12° C, but that was good enough for t-shirt and no coat.
  It was wet when I first opened the curtains this morning, but the clouds soon thinned to give sunny spells. With luck the sunny spells should last for the rest of the day. Even with a bit of sunshine the afternoon temperature will be no higher than yesterday, 12° C. A clear night will let the temperature drop a lot. At 11pm it may be down to 7° C, but tomorrow may start at 8° C. Tomorrow looks horrible ! After a couple of hours of sunny spells the cloud will thicken, and by 3pm it will start to rain. The afternoon temperature will only be 11° C, and 11am there will be very strong winds which will make it feel colder, and make the rain feel worse.

  Yesterday was a dry day except for 5pm when light rain was forecast, but I can't say I noticed any. There was some thin mist in the morning, but most of the day was at least a bright grey. The afternoon peaked at 15° C, and that seemed OK.
  It is certainly a very dull start to the day, but from 10am it might be a brighter grey, and from 3pm there might be some sunny spells. It will cloud over from 6pm, but by then the night will have started. Drizzle is forecast from 9pm, and light rain from 11pm. The afternoon should see 12° C. Tomorrow may start with light rain, but by 9am we could see sunny spells, and at 5pm we might get full sunshine just before the sun sets. Clear skies will make for a cold night tomorrow.

  Yesterday looked quite damp outside, but I don't recall seeing any rain fall. After a 7° C start, the day warmed up to an afternoon temperature of 12° C. Mist was forecast for very late evening, but I don't think I checked to see if it happened.
  This morning definitely started with some thin mist. The temperature as I write this is now about 9° C. By 2pm it could be 15° C, but until 4pm there will be no sign of the sun, and whether we will get sunny spells for 4pm is debatable. 5pm could see light rain. It does not look a nice day. Tomorrow looks no better. The current forecast shows tomorrow as another grey day, except for 5pm when there might be some sunny spells for that one single hour. The afternoon temperature is currently forecast to only reach 12° C.

  No rain was forecast for yesterday, but it was forecast that it would be a very grey day - and it was ! Even if it didn't rain, it still looked quite damp outside. The afternoon temperature was only forecast to reach 10° C, and I think that was probably right.
  I didn't notice any mist this morning, but it did look slightly hazy, and it was as if the clouds were only a few hundred feet up. Light rain was forecast for 7 and 8am this morning, but I didn't notice any, and while the road looks damp, it seems to be closer to dry than it did yesterday when there may have been no rain all day. It is going to be another very dull grey day, but this afternoon it may be 12° C, and that could be 2° less cold than yesterday. It seems we have another chance of mist late tonight, and the temperature may be down to 8° C by 10pm. Tomorrow could start at 7° C, and once again mist is forecast. At 1pm the sun may break through to give some sunny spells until 4pm. By 5pm there may be a few hours of light rain.

  The most significant thing about yesterday's weather was that some of the forecast light rain was actually heavy rain ! I didn't see any of the forecast mist in the morning, but maybe there was some in the evening, but by then I had cosed the curtains, and was asleep in bed. Bother ends of the day were 9° C, but afternoon reached 12° C - which might have been nice if it was sunny and not pouring with rain !   Today the headline feature is drizzle, and indeed it looks like there is some drizzle falling at the moment, but the silly thing is no drizzle is shown on the chart. In fact it says there is a 0% chance of rain all day long. However it does say it will be dark grey all day long. The afternoon may only reach 10° C, and tonight it will fall to 8° C. The latest update to the forecast says the night time temperature will be just 7° C. Mist may fall from 11pm tonight, and it may not disperse until 8am tomorrow. It may be a bit brighter tomorrow, and at 4pm we could get a couple of hours of sunny spells. The temperature may peak at 13° C for a single hour at 3pm. By 9pm the temperature may fall to 9° C, and mist may descend again. Once again it may not lift until several hours after sunrise the day after.

  Yesterday was lovely and sunny. The day started at about 8° C, but by 2pm it peaked at 16° C.   Today's weather is quite different to yesterday. I never noticed any mist, but this morning is definitely grey. From 1pm it may start to rain, but only light rain. It could continue until 10pm, and then mist is forecast again. I wonder if it will get misty ? The afternoon may only be 12° C. but if it was not raining that is still just about warm enough for t-shirt and shorts. Tomorrow may start chilly at just 7° C, and the sky may be a very dark grey. Some later hours may seen the sky turn to medium grey. There will obviously be no trace of the sun tomorrow, but it is forecast to be dry all day. The afternoon may only reach 11° C.

  The sun finally came out for a long time yesterday. I don't think the sunshine was as continuous as the weather forecast predicted, but it was still extremely welcome and very enjoyable. The afternoon temperature reached 14° C, but clear skies meant the temperature dropped to just 8 ° C by midnight.   The sun is shining as I write this, and the sky looks mostly blue. The (mostly) blue sky suggests the sunshine should last longer than the forecast suggests. I suppose some clouds might appear that changes sunshine to just sunny spells as shown in the forecast. The forecast says even those will disappear at midday to leave a dull, but still dry day. The afternoon should reach 13° C, but by 10pm the temperature may fall to a chilly 7° C. Tomorrow could start at just 6° C, but the sun will get stronger, until full sunshine in the afternoon may take the temperature up to 15° C,

The ends of the day were both 9° C, but the afternoon did reach 12 ° C.   This morning the sun is already shining, and while we might get an odd hour of just sunny spells, it is looking like most of the day will feature full bright sunshine. It should take the afternoon temperature up to 14° C (and possibly higher). The ends of the day are shown to be 8° C, but at the moment I see 9° C on my thermometers. Tomorrow may be cloudy, but still be dry. All temperatures are currently predicted to be about 1° C less than all today's temperatures.

  Yesterday morning, and the start of the afternoon were wet, but the rain was fairly light, and sometimes just light drizzle. the last few hours before sunset were quite bright with some sunshine. The afternoon temperature was only a rather cool 9° C, and from 9pm the temperature dropped to just 6° C until it started to rise a bit during the night.   This morning it is damp outside, but as I write this it does not seem to be raining, and the temperature has risen to about 11° C, 2° C higher than forecast.The threat of rain is shown as quite high for all of this morning. At midday it is shown as 97%, but drops to 0% by 7pm. Whether it rains or not is something that will become apparent when it does, but it seems certain that all of today will be dull and grey. The only possible good thing is that the afternoon will be 12° C. In sunshine that would be fine for shorts and no coat, but under a sullen grey sky it will feel cold. Tomorrow could start a bit chilly at just 8° C because the sky will be clear, and it will stay clear all day to give some wonderful sunshine. Tomorrow afternoon should peak at a nice 14° C.
