Last night was a couple of degrees less chilly than the night before, but it still feel rather cool once I came out from under my duvet. As I write this it is clouding over and we may lose even the sunny spells we have had (and still have at the moment). Oddly enough, despite a dull afternoon, the temperature may still hit 25° C - one degree more than yesterday. Tomorrow may be an even cloudier day than today, and the temperature a degree less. like today, it should still be dry.

  Yesterday was another day when not a lot happened. The highlight might have been seeing Margaret in the park again, but that didn't happen. I did go for a walk in the park though.
  It was rather cloudy and dull when I went out to the park.
  I'm sure I can remember seeing this kiddies bike laying in the river. The partial coating of green slime sort of proves that. It has been fished out of the river, and is sitting on the river bank, maybe 5ft above the level of the river, and on the river side of the railings. I can imagine it sitting there until some yobbo tosses it back in some time in the next 12 months.
  I'm sure I have seen these black flowers, possibly a type of Nasturtion, near the Lewisham war memorial, but these ones were in the St Mary's Therapeutic Gardens.
  This photo effect is very pleasing - the subject in sharp focus, and the background very blurred. It is rare that I do it on purpose, and that was so this time, but I had the ISO sensitivity low(ish) and a fast shutter. That meant the aperture had to be possibly fully open. In turn, that reduces the focal depth to a very shallow amount.
  This squirrel did a nice pose for me in the Therapeutic Garden.
   I would have thought that these flowers would attract loads of bees, but I just saw this one fly. I think the bees didn't think it was ideal flying weather.
   Another homeless persons tent tucked away behind bushes and trees on the riverbank. Can't be nice living there alongside the rats that live by the river.
  No rain for weeks and maybe months, means that the blackberries are not looking big and plump this year even thought these are growing only 10 to 15ft feet from the river.


  My walk was a little longer than many of my simple walks in the park. 1.6 miles is still well short of my desires, but I did find it fairly easy, and extending it seems like it could happen soon.

  At this point I have to come to a premature stop. I had to go out yesterday morning, and I am just finishing this on Thursday morning. Once saved I can start on Thursday (or what happened yesterday - Wednesday). I'm not sure how much I will be able to write because it is a bit late now, and I intend to go out again for a few hours.
