My
Electronic Diary For April 2025 |
Friday 25th April 2025 |
08:34 BST
It took until about 11am
before the sun broke through the clouds yesterday.
From then on it wasn't too bad a day. The late
afternoon temperature reached 16° C, and in the
sunshine that felt good, but it was only sunny spells,
and although some seemed to last a long time, when the
sun was behind a cloud there was a bit of a chill in
the air.
![]() Today may have started
with full sunshine, but it was a cold morning with
the temperature around 8° C. By now the sunshine
should be reduced to sunny spells, but it looks
like the sunshine might last a bit longer. If we
are really lucky there won't be the 2 hour gap in
the sunny spells mid afternoon. Sadly the sunny
spells may not raise the temperature higher than
15° C today. The temperature will dip tonight, but
some warm winds will warm things up a bit at 3am.
Tomorrow could start at 10° C, but the sunny
spells may not start until 11am again, and even
then will be a bit sparse. That will keep the
temperature down to 17° C - which is admittedly
more than today, but may still feel a little cool
when there is no sunshine. Things look better for
Sunday, and on Monday I expect I will be wearing
shorts !
Yesterday was a typical Thursday - good in parts, and not good at all at other times. The latter particularly so when it comes to the facts about what I ended up eating - a fact I knew would happen, and I did try and get a grip on it, and failed badly according to my health records. Yesterday is more fully described, along with notes about my sleep, and what a disaster it is this morning (in term of my health), and it all can be read in my complete archived page for today. |
Thursday 24th April 2025 |
08:44 BST
Yesterday started off wet,
but the rain finished earlier than forecast, and then
we had an occasional sunny spell. It felt quite warm
in the sunshine, and particularly when wearing a black
leather jacket ! The forecast predicted a not very
high of just 12° C, but I suspect it may have been
higher than that.
![]() Today has started off
dry, and about 9° C. It seems to be light grey
outside now, but if the forecast is correct we
could see sunny spells from 11am. They should help
take the afternoon temperature up to 16° C. It
will be dry all day, and so should tomorrow. There
could be sunny spells almost all day tomorrow, but
the afternoon temperature may only rise to 15° C.
I am unsure whether to call yesterday a good day, or something closer to average - what ever that is. Of course there were also some bad bits, and they tended to happen in the late afternoon/early evening. As usual they mostly involved food. One big plus was a couple of trains I saw, but I'll describe those a bit further down the page. All that can be described of my day, night, and also this morning, can be read in my complete archived page for today. |
Wednesday 23rd April 2025 |
07:57 BST
Yesterday was mostly warm
and bright. I'm not sure if the best sunshine was in
the morning when it was a bit cool, was the best idea
or not. The afternoon only featured sunny spells, and
during the dull periods between the sun coming out,
the light-ish wind did make it feel a bit cool. The
afternoon temperature probably did reach 17° C, but
even the light wind made it feel a lot cooler.
![]() Today has started off
very wet after rain through the night, and light
rain may continue until midday. It seems to have
stopped raining for the moment (as I type this at
8:19am), but the grim grey clouds promise much
more rain yet. It is currently about 10° C, and
the forecast says the best we can hope for today
will be just 12° C. The last few hours of daylight
may feature some sunny spells. Most of tomorrow
may be dull, but there could still be a lot of
sunny spells, and maybe even a full hour of
sunshine. The temperature may reach 16° C.
Yesterday was generally a good day, but it was also a very tiring day. To some extent it was a good sort of tiring...maybe. It involved fresh air, and exercise....and some rather interesting eating. Eating that didn't seem wise at the time, but maybe it was. It even produced a few pictures to show today, and 3,095 words to describe my day, night, and this morning, and it can all be seen and read in my complete archived page for today. |
Tuesday 22nd April 2025 |
08:18 BST
The forecast said yesterday
would be a miserable day. It certainly was not a good
day, but it was not as bad as the forecast predicted,
and was even a little bit good at times. The day
started almost warm at 10° C, and the afternoon warmed
up to 16 and possibly 17° C. There were a few short
sunny spells when there should have been none, and as
far as I could see, it stayed dry when it should have
rained. There were definitely no thundery showers !
![]() The sky may have stayed
cloudy longer than forecast last night because
this morning started at closer to 10° C, and it is
already 11° C as I type this. The sun is shining,
as per the forecast, and although full sunshine
will/may give way to just sunny spells before the
morning is over, it should remain bright and
cheerful, and the temperature should reach 17° C.
Rain could start to fall at 2am tomorrow, and by
morning could be quite heavy. It may slacken off
by mid morning, and the last of the rain could
fall around midday. The afternoon will be dry but
still dull, and it may be no more than a chilly
13° C.
Yesterday was a day that started with some appalling health measurements, and I had to steel myself to take special precautions. Today it seems most of what I did worked, but more about that later. I seemed to take my time writing yesterday's piece, and that was a good distraction. Most of my day and night, including a brief note about a dream, plus notes about this morning, can all be read in my complete archived page for today. |
Monday 21st April 2025 |
08:51 BST
Statistics say that one
day's weather will usually be like the day before, and
that holds good for yesterday. It was another bland
sort of day - not very sunny, and not very warm.
Although not shown in the early forecast, there was
even a light sprinkle of rain early last night. The
day started at around 6° C, and the afternoon peaked
at just 14° C.
![]() The best thing that can
be said about today's weather is that it started
at about 10° C, and as I write this it is 15° C.
There is no sunshine to warm things up further,
but it may be that by mid afternoon it could be
higher than the 16° C forecast - possibly by a
couple of degrees. I have no idea why the BBC
includes rays of sunshine around a black cloud
with rain leaking from it, but the Met Office
forecast cuts straight to the bone and just shows
dark grey clouds for the afternoon. They only show
light rain, and no thunderstorms are shown. Maybe
if the afternoon warms up enough to start feeling
muggy there could be a crack of thunder, but
probably not. Tomorrow could feature a lot of
sunshine or sunny spells, and the temperature
could peak at 18° C. That could be the day to do
stuff !
Yesterday was not really a good day, or you could say the consequences of yesterday were not good ! The grey start to the day dampened any enthusiasm to do more than the minimum. It might, but probably wasn't, all to blame for some bad eating choices. My day, and the mistakes made, are described along with notes about my sleep, my dreams, and also this morning, in my complete archived page for today. |
Sunday 20th April 2025 |
08:46 BST
Yesterday's weather was
sort of bland, and from indoors it was difficult to
say if it was good or bad. The day started off
obviously dull, and yet it was not that cold, at least
when the wind was not too strong. Around midday there
were some warm sunny spells, but once again when the
wind was not too strong. There probably was full
sunshine later in the afternoon, and yet I remember it
more as feeling nice, behind glass, to have a snooze !
The forecast said the temperature would briefly touch
15° C, and maybe that happened, but 14° C was more
representative. Once again that could have felt OK if
it were not for the wind - which was a little stronger
in the afternoon.
![]() The weather is not
looking good now, and probably will seem bad all
day. I have seen no sign of any sunshine peeping
through the grey clouds, and it seems unlikely
there will be later. The Met Office version of the
forecast shows dark grey clouds from 1pm, and
light rain for 5 and 6pm. Both forecasters agrees
that the day started at about 6° C, and that this
afternoon will see 14° C. Tomorrow may be a bit
warmer, 16° C in the afternoon, but without much
sunshine, and there is a fair chance there will be
light rain all afternoon.
Yesterday was another of those days when I didn't feel like doing much. However I did do one useful thing, and somehow I also managed to control my eating/sugar intake despite lots of temptations. How I managed that is mostly a mystery, but a few clues emerge in the rest of my narrative. I seemed to have written a fair bit about not much, and padded it out with a few pictures. It is all described, alonge with my night and this morning in my complete archived page for today. |
Saturday 19th April 2025 |
09:14 BST
Although sunny spells were
forecast from dawn to 2pm (but in reality around
midday) many of the sunny spells were really of hazy
sunshine shining around, or through thin cloud. The
morning started at 10° C, and by the afternoon it had
crept up to 16° C. There were stronger winds than
recently, and that made the 16° C feel a lot cooler.
From 6pm there was supposed to be drizzle and rain
from 6pm. I think there was a short period of light
drizzle, but generally it seemed to stay dry as far as
I could see.
![]() This morning has started
at 11° C, which is pretty good. There sky is very
cloudy, but it still seems fairly bright, and
despite the forecast not showing it, we have had a
couple of short sunny spells. The forecast sunny
spells should start at 11am, and from 3pm we
should/might get full sunshine until sunset. After
the almost warm start, and the full sunshine, the
highest temperature today, for one hour at 3pm,
may only be 15° C. I suspect the modestly strong
wind today is blowing in cold air, and generally
making it feel cold. The headline features for
tomorrow are currently shown as light rain and and
gentle breeze, but light rain and drizzle is only
shown for 8am to 10am. The rest of the day may be
dry, but it will still be dull until some possible
sunny spells from 6pm to sunset. The highest
temperature will be just 14° C,
Yesterday was one of those days when I didn't feel like doing much. In fact I hardly did anything. Most of me was probably OK, but all the lost sleep the night before left it's mark - a mark that might have been ignored if it was an exciting day, but it wasn't. I have written as much as I can remember about yesterday, how I slept last night, and notes about this morning in my complete archived page for today. |
Friday 18th April 2025 |
09:15 BST
Yesterday's weather was
sort of OK, but also not that great. The morning, with
glorious sunshine should have been great, but it was
very chilly, and still felt quite chilly when it had
warmed up to 13° C. After that the sunshine turned
into sunny spells, and that only took the temperature
up to 16° C, which should have felt warm, but somehow
didn't. Oh well, could have been worse.
![]() The sun may be a little
hazy as I write this, but it has been shining non
stop for a couple of hours (or so I think). 10° C
was a fair start to the day, but it may only rise
to 16° C again in the early afternoon, and
possibly more if we get longer periods of sunshine
instead of just sunny spells. By 6pm it all goes
wrong ! It will start to drizzle, and then a few
hours later it will turn to light rain. That light
rain will continue through the night, but it
should be dry by 6am tomorrow. Tomorrow could be
grey until 1pm when me might get some sunny
spells. That will only warm the day up to just 14°
C, and like today, the breeze may be strong enough
to make it feel a lot cooler.
Yesterday left some consequences for today, but most of the day could be considered to be fairly good. The badness actually started late evening, although the foundation for it started late afternoon. On the other hand I might have it all wrong, and it was more like "just one of those things". My day, my night, a slightly sexy dream, and notes about this morning, can all be read in my complete archived page for today. |
Thursday 17th April 2025 |
08:14 BST
Yesterday was lovely and
bright, but the wind made it feel rather cool. The
first sunny spells started an hour or two later than
forecast, and the afternoon was more like long sunny
spells than non stop sunshine. The forecast high was
15° C, but it may have been a degree or two higher -
but it certainly didn't feel that way.
![]() It is a very chilly
start to today, just 7° C, but it is gloriously
sunny. If the forecast is correct the non stop
sunshine will give way to sunny spells at midday.
The afternoon high should be 16° C, and the wind
looks like it will be light enough to not make it
feel cooler. Tonight may not be as cold as last
night, and the day should start with a single hour
of sunshine. After that there should be sunny
spells for the rest of the day. The temperature
may touch 17° C for a single hour, but stronger
winds may make it feel cooler.
Yesterday was a fairly good day, or at least good in parts, and maybe some parts must have been very good. I guess that sounds unusually positive, but I will find some negatives things to say about yesterday as well. The biggest negative was the cold wind. My day is described along with some notes about last night (and a dream) and notes about my health and plans for today, all in my complete archived page for today. |
Wednesday 16th April 2025 |
07:44 BST
For the first time in what
seems like ages, I can report that yesterday's weather
was not nice. Most of the dayw as grey, although there
were a few unexpected sunny spells. There seemed to be
more rain than was forecast, although a lot of the
extra was light drizzle. The forecast predicted that
the afternoon temperature should reach 19° C, but I
seem recall it was struggling to reach 17° C, and then
only for an hour or two.
![]() There seems to be more
cloud than forecast, and so far the forecast sunny
spells have been very sparse. It doesn't help that
towards the east, where the sun is, there are some
quite large grey clouds. Hopefully the clouds will
thin enough to give the promised full sunshine
later on. Even with full sunshine from midday, if
we actually get it it, the temperature may only
rise to a slightly cool 15° C. It seems like we
could get quite a cool, maybe even cold night.
Tomorrow is forecast to start at just 6° C, but
the day should be bright and sunny enough to raise
the temperature to 16° C.
Yesterday was another one of those days which seemed half OK, but I have little to show for it. I guess I did more than I predicted I would do at the end of yesterday's writing, but there was still a lot of empty day with nothing to show for it. Somehow I seemed to control my eating though. My day, despite the details being rather thin, is described along with notes about my night, and this morning, in my complete archived page for today. |
Tuesday 15th April 2025 |
07:14 BST
Yesterday wasn't that bad.
The morning featured some nice sunny spells, and some
of them were long enough to be mistaken for non stop
sunshine. There were a few longer dull times towards
the end of the morning, but the sunny spells seemed to
continue past 1pm which was the forecast time for them
to end. With no sunshine for the later part of the
afternoon, it did seem to feel a bit cool compared to
being in sunshine - even when the thermometer said it
was several degrees cooler. Most of the afternoon was
just 15° C. From 11pm, and maybe earlier, there was
rain.
![]() I nearly made the error
of saying the rain had stopped because I couldn't
see it through the net curtains, but then I saw
all the ripples of falling rain in a big puddle
across the road. It seems the rain that started
last night continues, but the forecast says it
should be dry, but dull by 9am. The rain may start
again at 3pm, and continue until 8pm. It is
just a bit over 10° C now, but this afternoon, at
3pm, in the middle of the rain, it could be a
quite warm 19° C. It looks like it could be a dry
night. Tomorrow may feature a lot of sunny spells,
and some hours may feature non stop sunshine. It
may be a slightly windy day, and that could hold
tomorrow down to a maximum of just 14° C.
Yesterday was one of those days which seemed half OK, but nothing really happened. In the whole day I only did two things of any significance - provided I omit eating. I did and didn't eat too much, or maybe I didn't eat a great deal, but what I ate may not have been the healthiest options. My day is described, and some notes about my night and this morning included, in my complete archived page for today. |
Monday 14th April 2025 |
08:19 BST
Yesterday didn't seem to
that bad until the afternoon, when it turned out the
weather forecast was almost right. Thicker clouds
blocked the sun, and light rain started to fall. On
the other hand, the light rain was mostly just
drizzle, and there seemed to be not that much rain
anyway. The afternoon temperature reached 16° C for a
couple of hours, and that felt almost OK.
![]() It is a lovely morning -
clear blue sky, and bright sunshine. It is hard to
believe that by 2pm the sky will be full of grey
clouds, but it may well be true. This afternoon
may only see 15° C. It may not be until 11pm
before any rain falls. There could be some quite
heavy rain in the early hours of tomorrow morning.
After sunrise tomorrow there may be quite a few
light showers, and even some sunny spells mid
afternoon. The temperature may reach 17° C.
Yesterday was a good day in some ways, and bad in others. It was a mixed blessing that I didn't get out to do any exercise. Not doing it felt good, but it would have felt good to continue the good work from the day before. Oh well, at least the day featured booze, and that was a mixed blessing too. The complete account of my day (or at least the less boring bits), plus notes about my night and this morning, can be read in my complete archived page for today. |
Sunday 13th April 2025 |
08:17 BST
Yesterday was the warmest
day so far this year. The afternoon temperature rose
to 21° C. It was all slightly let down by there being
more cloud, albeit usually high and thin cloud, but
enough to sometimes dim the sun, and almost make it
seem very dull outside.
![]() Today we return to
probably what is closer to typical weather for
almost mid April. This morning started off almost
warm at 12° C, but the predicted sunny spells seem
to feature more cloud than sunshine (or maybe I am
basing this on a sample of only a single hour).
The temperature should warm up to 16° C, but from
2pm there could be April showers. I seem to think
the amount of time it will rain has changed in
every iteration of the forecast. That shown above
might be more, or less, than reality. It is
possible that tomorrow may be dry, and there could
even be some non stop sunshine in the morning, but
that may finish as early as 10am. From then on
there will be sunny spells. Tomorrow may still
reach 16° C.
Yesterday was a good, but very tiring day. It was good because I managed to get out in the sunshine, although thatw as spoiled when instead of non stop strong sunshine, there was some times in the afternoon when thin clouds dimmed the sun to give almost hazy views. There are loads of photos to illustrate my account of yesterday, and I also have notes about my night (not good), and this morning, in my complete archived page for today. |
Saturday 12th April 2025 |
08:54 BST
Yesterday was a warm and
sunny day (after a slightly cooler start), but I
almost missed all of it. I am not 100% convinced the
temperature hit the forecast 21° C, but I wouldn't
argue against it reaching 20° C.
![]() Today is forecast to be
the last of the recent string of warm sunny days.
The day has started at 8 or 9° C, with bright
sunshine from a partly clear sky. There is a lot
of thin cloud visible at the moment, but it has
not stopped the bright sunshine. That cloud should
fade way, and this afternoon should feature strong
sunshine that will take the temperature back up to
21° C. After sunset the cloud will be back, and it
will thicken enough for some light rain from 11pm.
The rain may not finish until 4am this morning,
but most of tomorrow should be dry. Sunshine will
be in short supply, and only about half the
daylight hours will feature sunny spells. The
temperature should still climb to 16° C, and that
should feel fairly OK.
Yesterday was quite a successful day for the most important thing, but it was a shame to not go out and frolic in the hot sunshine. Explanations for all these things will be forthcoming, further down the page. Mention will also be made of some things that were less successful. My day is described, along with notes about my sleep, and notes about this morning, in my complete archived page for today. |
Friday 11th April 2025 |
08:14 BST
Yesterday started off very
cloudy. It remained fairly grey until gone midday, but
I think that the sun managed to peep through the
clouds at about 1pm, and a few hours later we had some
glorious sunshine - until the sun set another few
hours later. From about 4pm the the temperature peaked
at 16° C, but all the morning felt almost chilly.
![]() The forecast promises
that today will be the warmest day of the year so
far. It may have started at 8° C, but the sky is
blue, and the sun is shining. It should get the
temperature up to 21° C this afternoon. Tomorrow
may be very similar, except only 20° C is
forecast, but that is still nice and warm. At 11pm
there could be the first hint that the weather is
changing for the worse. Drizzle is expected.
Yesterday was quite a good day, not perfect, but pleasant enough. It was certainly good enough to make today start off as a bit of a disaster, and the reasons for that mostly revolve around booze ! The alcohol itself did little harm, but it did induce me to make some unwise decisions. Yesterday's disaster, and some good bits, my terrible night, and the consequences of that this morning, is all described in my complete archived page for today. |
Thursday 10th April 2025 |
08:46 BST
Yesterday started off very
chilly, but worse than that, it started off very
cloudy. Contrary to the weather forecast, the cloud
only allowed an occasional bit of hazy sunshine
through. The cloud did not break up until gone midday,
and strong sunny spells didn't start until about 2pm.
An hour after that we finally got the strong sunshine
forecast. The afternoon was supposed to reach 15° C,
but it was barely above 11° C at 1pm. I doubt it
reached 15° C at any time.
![]() It is a very grey
morning again, although I think the starting
temperature was closer to 7° C than the forecast
5° C, Maybe we will start seeing the sun break
through the clouds around midday, and from 4pm we
may see full on sunshine until sunset. The
afternoon should warm up to 16° C. Tomorrow could
see the very welcome return to all day sunshine,
and the temperature should/could reach a very warm
21° C. The day after could be similar, but from
Sunday onwards it will be cold, dull and wet
again.
Yesterday could have been another very depressing day, but it was only mildly depressing. There were a few good things, and I did one job that I had been putting off for ages. That rather pleased me, but with that done I didn't do much at all. The mid afternoon sunshine was quite cheery, but sort of wasted. My day, such as it was, plus my uneventful night, and my usual notes about this morning, can all be read in my complete archived page for today. |
Wednesday 9th April 2025 |
08:46 BST
After another cool start,
5° C, and not the forecast 4° C, yesterday was soon
warmed up by non stop sunshine. The afternoon
temperature probably reached the forecast 15° C, but I
didn't go out to experience it.
![]() Once again the forecast
predicted a 4° C start to the day, but clouds had
gathered during the night, and that kept the
temperature up, although only by just over a
single degree. The clouds meant there was no
sunshine at daybreak, and it was at least an hour
two before some hazy sunshine seeped through the
clouds. Even now it looks very cloudy, but the
occasional sunshine is stronger. Maybe by
Yesterday was not a good day. It seemed like the morning lasted a long time, because I didn't do anything, and that was because I was effectively constipated. I was not that uncomfortable, but I didn't want to risk that situation changing if I went out. Another day of solitary confinement. I have tried to describe some of yesterday's bland day, but I've probably said more about my dreams, and this morning in my complete archived page for today. |
Tuesday 8th April 2025 |
09:12 BST
After a cool start (5° C)
yesterday was soon warmed up by non stop sunshine, but
sadly only as high as 14° C. Nevertheless, in that
beautiful sunshine it still felt very comfortable with
no coat, and only a short sleeved t-shirt. (edited to
show the 5° C start to the day).
![]() Today will just be a 1°
warmer day than yesterday, and with possibly
lighter winds it might feel even feel warmer. This
afternoon, in the middle of a day of non stop
sunshine, should see the temperature reach 15° C
for maybe 5 hours. Some clouds tomorrow morning
may mean only sunny spells, but tomorrow afternoon
should see non stop sunshine, and the temperature
reaching 15° C again. The breeze may be a tiny bit
stronger tomorrow.
I knew that what I did yesterday would have consequences today. Fortunately those consequences were not as bad as I feared. What I did, and some of the consequences will become apparent in the rest of today's electronic diary (what you are reading now). It is all sort of described in my complete archived page for today, and which also includes notes about my sleep, and dreams, and about this morning. |
Monday 7th April 2025 |
08:11 BST
After a cool start ( 7° C)
yesterday was soon warmed up by non stop sunshine, but
sadly only as high as 14° C. Nevertheless, in that
beautiful sunshine it still felt very comfortable with
no coat, and only a short sleeved t-shirt.
![]() This morning, even at
7am, is was closer to 4° C than the 5° C forecast.
It is starting to warm up now, and another day of
non stop sunshine should see the temperature reach
14° C for most of the afternoon. It will be dry
all day, and today may feel warmer thanks to less
wind. It will be another cold night, and tomorrow
morning may start only a couple of degrees more
then needed for a frosty start. Once again, non
stop sunshine all day long, and maybe a very
slightly lighter breeze, could see the temperature
rise to 16° C (but just for a single
hour).
I think I liked yesterday. I had thought about going shopping because I did need a few bits, but instead I went for a walk in the sunshine. The best bit was that I think I detected some improvement in my walking. It tends to be quite variable, and maybe it meant nothing. I have written a lot about yesterday, and included a lot of pictures, plus I seem to have described a few dreams and how I slept, plus the usual notes about the morning in my complete archived page for today. |
Sunday 6th April 2025 |
08:54 BST
I only went out for a short
time yesterday, but I didn't notice the wind cooling
the day down. In fact I hardly noticed any wind. After
a cool (7° C) start to the day, the strong sunshine
warmed it up to 17° C by 1pm. It started cooling down
after 5pm, and by midnight it was down to 7° C again
![]() Today is forecast to be
a bit cooler than yesterday. The wind speed and
direction seem to be the same as yesterday, so I
guess the wind will be a lot cooler than
yesterday. The afternoon temperature should reach
14° C, and hopefully that will feel nice when
outside. The strong sunshine should warm my front
rooms up regardless of the wind outside. Tomorrow
may start cooler at just 5° C, but the afternoon
should be a bit warmer at 15° C after another day
of (possibly) non stop, strong sunshine.
Yesterday was a curious sort of day. I didn't seem to feel anything like as bad as the day before, but I still found I was lacking enthusiasm, and perhaps to a lesser extent, energy too. However it was a day when some useful experiments took place. I have described all I can remember about yesterday, plus last night, and added some notes about this morning, in my complete archived page for today. |
Saturday 5th April 2025 |
08:47 BST
Yesterday was yet another day that was sunny and bright, or at least it was for a lot of the time. The sky was not always a clear blue. At times there were a lot of high thin clouds, but enough to dim the sunshine a fair bit. The afternoon did reach 20° C, but the wind made it feel cooler. ![]() This morning started
cooler than yesterday. It was around 7° C at
daybreak, and it looks like the sun doesn't have
the strength yet to warm things up like yesterday.
Despite all day sunshine (probably) the afternoon
temperature will only reach 17° C. The wind may be
a bit stronger today, and that will mean it will
feel cooler still. It should still (hopefully) be
ideal t-shirt weather. It looks like it will cool
down quite fast tonight, and tomorrow may start at
just 7° C again (and the forecast claims the wind
will make that feel more like a very chilly 5° C).
Once again there should be full sunshine all day,
and the afternoon may be no more than 13° C,
except 3pm which might reach 14° C.
I'm not sure how to describe yesterday, or more specifically me yesterday. I've considered saying depressed, and I've considered saying tired, but I think listlessness is closer, but a mix of all three, each boosting the others, probably comes closer to the truth. All is described, as best I can, about yesterday, plus the usual notes about my night, and this morning, in my complete archived page for today. |

Yesterday was yet another day that was sunny and bright, but what could have been a nice warm day was spoiled by cold winds. The forecast predicted 17° C in the afternoon, and it may have been warmer, but the stronger gusts of wind made it feel chilly. ![]() Today could reach 20° C
(or 21° C according to The Met Office forecast).
Like yesterday, the headline says "a moderate
breeze", but at times it felt a bit more than
"moderate". Hopefully it is not so unmoderate to
steal too much warmth from the glorious sunshine
today. Tomorrow should feature bright sunshine all
day long again, but the temperature may only rise
to 17° C. Once again there will be "a moderate
breeze".
Yesterday was generally quite a good day, but like most things, it was not perfect. There were a few negative things, but they can mostly be blamed on going shopping, and then booze. Having said that, I did not get very drunk during (before or after) the afternoon boozing session. The good and the band, and maybe the trivial too, of my day, night, and this morning, are all described in my complete archived page for today. |

Yesterday was another day that was sunny and bright, but what could have been a nice warm day was spoiled by cold winds. The forecast predicted 14° C in the afternoon, and it may have reached 15° C, but the stronger gusts of wind made it feel closer to just 10° C. ![]() The wind may be a bit
lighter today, and that may allow the forecast 17°
C actually feel closer to 17° C. Once again it
should be very sunny, and of course dry. Even the
night may not get that cold. Tomorrow the wind may
shave off a degree or two, but it could be a very
warm day. The headline may show 20° C, but the
hour by hour forecast only shows a maximum of 19°
C, but most of the afternoon should be this warm,
and it may feel almost hot when out of the
wind. We could have another 7 days of good
weather after tomorrow, although tomorrow should
be hotter than any of those next 7 days.
To my delight, yesterday was a pretty good day, or at least the results this morning say it was. That's not to say there weren't a few negative things about yesterday. Those things will be revealed in due course, and it might turn out there was actually only one of them. I have described my day as best I can, and even attempted to describe a dream last night, there are the usual notes about my morning, in my complete archived page for today. |

The more significant thing about yesterday's weather was that it was quite windy at time. That made it very good for drying clothes on the washing line, but did make the sunny 13° C feel chilly at times. Oh well, at least it was dry and bright all day. ![]() Today looks like the
wind will dominate the day more than yesterday. It
will be sunny all day again, and behind glass (for
instance) it should feel very warm, but out in the
wind the forecast 14° C could feel chilly. There
should be slightly lighter winds tomorrow, and
they will be blowing in warmer air. With another
day of non stop sunshine the temperature could
reach a rather warm feeling 17° C. The day after
tomorrow could see the temperature briefly touch
19° C.
I didn't expect it, but there was a lot of good stuff about yesterday, and only a little bit of bad stuff. That was mainly at bedtime, but just for a change it was not heartburn or related pains. Sometimes it was little things that made yesterday a good day. My good day, and my fairly good night, and pretty good morning, are all described in my complete archived page for today. |

Yesterday was generally bright, sunny, and warm, but in the early afternoon there were a lot of quite small clouds in the sky, and so the sunshine was more like sunny spells (or maybe not sunny spells). It didn't make any difference to the temperature, but it didn't looks so nice, and it slowed down how fast my washing was drying on the washing line. I think the afternoon temperature still rose to the forecast 16° C. ![]() Today will be just as
sunny as yesterday, and maybe more if the sky
stays clear all day, but the wind from the east
will make it a cooler day. Just 13° C is
predicted, but it should still look really nice.
Tomorrow should be another sunny day, but despite
the wind, it could be a degree or two warmer.
Yesterday started out really awful. A combination of almost no sleep, and bad health readings were not a good start, and not a good recipe for the rest of the day. Fortunately I did the right things with regard to my weight and blood glucose, and my blood pressure seemed to correct itself by the end of the day. I describe my day, a good sleep, and a fair start to this morning in my complete archived page for today. |
